What does a free EU trade mark search include?
We search the word elements of EU trade marks in the EUIPO register: exact matches, parts of the name and selected spelling and pronunciation variants. We sort the active trade marks found by similarity and by classes of goods and services. You receive the result by e-mail as a report with a preliminary risk level.
What does the search not cover?
National trade marks (e.g. those registered with the Czech Industrial Property Office, ÚPV), international registrations, company names, domain names, figurative elements of logos and trade marks without a word element. The risk level is preliminary and does not replace a legal assessment of the likelihood of confusion.
How much does a trade mark search cost and what happens next?
The basic search is free and without obligation. If you decide to register the brand, a full clearance search and an application strategy are part of our EU trade mark registration service.
How quickly will I get the report?
After you submit the form, you will receive an e-mail with a link to confirm your address. We will send the report within 24 hours of confirmation, on business days. An attorney always reviews it before it is sent.
