Approach
How IP Scan works
You sign the Declaration of Representatives and provide the documents we ask for.
We file the subsidy application with the EUIPO.
The EUIPO states that subsidies are approved within 15 business days if funds are available; in practice it may take longer.
You send an e-mail to the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic (Úřad průmyslového vlastnictví, ÚPV) to nominate the provider.
The ÚPV approves the provider.
The expert signs a non-disclosure agreement with you.
Initial online call (Teams or Google Meet); you provide the documents and we prepare the report.
We send you the report for comments.
We send the final version to the ÚPV for a quality check; once it is approved, you receive it.
The expert issues an invoice for EUR 1,400 + VAT.
Once the invoice is paid, the expert files the refund request and the EUIPO sends EUR 1,260 back to your account. Preparing the report, the ÚPV check and the refund usually take 4–15 weeks from approval of the subsidy.

Short answers
How much does IP Scan cost after the subsidy?
The price is EUR 1,400 excl. VAT, of which the EUIPO refunds EUR 1,260 (90% of the price excl. VAT). A VAT-registered business therefore actually pays EUR 140, a business not registered for VAT EUR 434.
How quickly is the IP Scan subsidy approved?
We file the subsidy application with the EUIPO, and the EUIPO states that it approves applications within 15 business days if funds are available; in practice it may take longer. Subsidies are granted in the order in which applications are received.
Who pays back the EUR 1,260?
The EUIPO sends the refund directly to your account. The expert requests it once their invoice has been paid.
