Where problems arise
What to watch out for in a purchase agreement
Agreements from real estate agencies
Real estate agencies are not attorneys. Their agreements tend to be standard forms that primarily protect the seller, not the buyer.
Templates from the internet
Purchase agreement templates found online often hide more risks than benefits. A purchase agreement looks simple – which is exactly why it is underestimated.
Hidden defects in the property
Damp, structural problems, poor-quality construction work. After the purchase, they mean significant repair costs.
